I have a 90 Laser RS FWD, Turbo and 5 speed with 72k on it. I just got a 93 Laser RS 2.0 NT automatic with front end damage. I like the looks of the 93 tailights and center section better than the 90 style. I plan on swapping the 93 lights and center panel in on the 90 if possible and not too difficult. Has anyone done this type of swap before? How hard was it and what am I getting myself into? Also looking at swapping back hatches because the 93 has the spoiler. Are they the same? Will I run into any problems with the hatch swap? Last but not least is the doors and the body molding along the sides on the bottom. I plan on taking this off the 93 and putting it on the 90. Aside from drilling a few holes for the clips is there any other issues I will run into with the side bottom moldings?

Thanks for the input and advice...

I just did a 90-93 swap on my laser to a eclipse front end.
I would give you advice, but.. I came here to ask myself.
Good luck! :thumb: :laser:

You will also need to swap rear bumpers. The 92-94 lights wont fit right with the 90-91 bumper. I have 92-94 eclipse rear bumper and taillights on my 90 gsx. Its fairly simple, the hardest part is removing the bumper bolts without them breaking. You dont have to swap the whole hatch, the spoiler comes off.

Thanks again for the info. I figure if I am going to swap the tailights and bumper might as well swap the hatch, easier than drilling new holes and bolting the spoiler, I hope..:)
Plus I think the 90 back hatch is leaking, I raised the lid the other day after a rain, and water came out of the sides of the plastic cover on the hatch in the cargo area????

The doors should swap out also I hope????????

Thanks everyone for your input......
