Changing color of my wheels?

What's the best way to black out my wheels? I have BBS RX which are cast, painted, clear coated. Do I just have them media blasted and painted black or is powder coating better? I want something that won't fade.

Powder coating is the best way to do it. But its more expensive.

Powder coat is less likely to Scratch, Chip or Peel.
I say powder coat them too, cause paint usually looks like crap after a few months

its not that expensive. I was quoted $425 for my 19"s and that was w/media blasting.

Yes, powdercoating is the best way to go. However, I have painted two sets of wheels with spray paint, and as long as you prep them good, they turn out just fine for a lot cheaper.

I used Duplicolor Wheel spray paint. Worked really well. Turned out great. Sanding was a major pain....... then changing my mind after and sanding it down again to repaint a different color was the worst thing ever.
But they held up great, sold them after a year and the new owner never re painted them yet (maybe 1.5 yr total?)

I'll try powder coating again. I had one wheel welded before from hitting a pothole and cracking and it was powder coated afterwards, unfortunately it faded. Should they be clear coated too? Personally I have never seen clear coat on a powder coated part.
