I just changed my UICP and decided to go test the car out even though i was idling at 2k RPMs. Well once I started accelerating my stock boost gauge was at the negative mark the whole time and car was running slow. And when I parked it my RPMs kept jumpring from 2k to 1.5k. Could it be a bad boost leak or what?

Sounds like a leak. What kind of clamps are you using to hold the piping together? If you're using worm clamps, chuck those worthless pieces of garbage and get some t-bolt clamps.

Something isn't connected. You have a vaccum leak. That's why you aren't boosting. Also why your RPM's are moving how they are, and why you are idling high.

I'm not too familiar with the turbo motors, but I'm assuming that you left some line unhooked on one side.

I used some t-bolt clamps for the TB Elbow and some crappy ones for the uicp..

I didn't think that pipe would matter at all.

It will because that's where your MAS sits. If it slips off then the MAS is not reading any airflow, which could explain why your stock gauge doesn't see anything past 0 and why you have an erratic idle.

I found the problem.. My MAF was disconnected :sosad: and I found the boost leak too, it was where my intercooler connects with the UICP. Ordered a reducer coupler 1.75 by 2.50 and t-bolt clamps to fix the problem..
