Hi, I'm looking to replace my mangled center diff off my Manual 98 GSX.

Can I replace it with a awd manual center diff from 92-99 years? Will they all just drop in and go?

Also what is this part and part number if possible? It is the washer under the bottom gear inside the center diff. I can't find it on the jacks transmission website and not sure what to search for.

Thank you, gave him a call. Wasn't good news. Parts have gone up in price. Gonna be a pretty penny to get a built center diff. That or buy used. Still waiting on replies from other venders but probably the same news.

What all did you break anyway? I saw the shim and the top hat is toast. What else?

The lower housing and the gears inside are all worn.

Only thing salvagable is perhaps the top housing and the cross

All your parts are essentially trash there. Weld it to keep as a spare, and find another good used one to work with.

Yes, the parts pricing has gone up dramatically, and most parts are now discontinued for the differential with extremely limited quantities remaining of parts that are not discontinued.
