hey guys, i'm new to the forum but i'm an avid member of cobaltss.net. I have a 2006 G85 Cobalt SS S/C with mods but this question is about my girlfiends car.
She has a 1997 eclipse rs with 420a. It is the base model RS automatic manual locks and windows. We got the car last summer for 2grand and its in very good condition. She has had a misfire in the engine since last summer, if the car is started then shut off, you can pull the plugs an there will be fuel on the plugs, if i remember correctly it was only on three of the four plugs. I replaced spark plugs and wires and it did not correct the problem. The car runs pretty good its just it has that CEL and a lil smoke out the exhaust which i think is from the unburnt fuel or excessive fuel to the plugs. I am thinking its a coil pack at this point but are there other things it could be? I'd like to get her car runnin good an start puttin a few mods on it for her. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. ~Kevin
