I recently installed the Apex'I S-AFCII and I now have a cel. It's been a couple months since I checked it (I don't drive the car very often) but I believe the code had to do with fuel trim. When I installed the Afc I remember seeing something about the possibility of getting a cel but I can't find the install instructions to see what it said. Can anyone help me, I've searched forums, Faqs and anything I could think of with no help. I need to fix this soon becuase I need to get the car inspected so I can drive it again.

Your best bet would be to pull the code so you know exactly what you CEL is on for and then go from there.

Sorry it took so long (I'm a very busy guy lately) but the code is P1104. Also tonight on my way home when I got on the gas 100% the car would take very hard then bog down terribly once it got into the turbo range. I don't know if it's related or if maybe I blew off a inter-cooler pipe (or maybe a bad leak) but I figured I'd mention it because it could be relevant

Turbocharger wastegate solenoid fault code. Obviously if this ain't working then you could have lack of power codes. Hopefully a turbo wiseman will jump in here to help you diagnose the problem a little better than I can.

Alright I did a little research last night and it seems if I simply plug the factory boost controller into its harness but keep my mbc hooked up that will get rid of the code. That doesn't however seem like it would have an affect on my sudden lack of power problem, or would it?

I plugged my old BCS back in today and the cel is now off but the car is still a dog under boost. Any ideas? This is new, it was fine until last night. My best guess would be a massive boost leak or maybe bad plugs. Just a visual inspection of my inter-cooler pipes shows nothing (nothings falling apart, they look the same as last time I looked at them ect...) As far as spark plugs go, is it possible that I'm blowing out the spark under boost? Maybe I need a different type plug? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.
