Hey guys quick question: On my 98 Rs, will I get a CEL or anything if I install a testpipe, with an 02 sensor fitting?

If so what can I do other than get a "real" cat?

my 97 has a full exhaust including header and downpipe, resonator in cats place and a 2.5 resonator back exhaust. when installing all this i even replaced my o2 sensor with a new one casue i broke the other one. i installed everything, reset the ecu and started her up. that was 6-7 months ago and i have no check engine light yet about not haveing a cat, and i know the light works cause ive gotten it for other things.

PM Paul (Velocita Paola) as he makes great working O2 Simulator boxes for our cars. So if you do get a CEL, you can throw one of those on there to get rid of it. I have a CEL for my EGR Blockoff so, to me, a CEL isn't a big deal to have on all the time haha.

Maybe with a 4g63. You would probably get an out-of-range code if you did that with ours.
