CEL after boost leak test?

For the past 3 times, after I've done a boost leak test I get a CEL. But if i pull my ground terminal and reset the ECU it goes away. What do you think causes this? I've never pulled the code but im just curious if this happens to anyone else.

Also, I just fixed my injector seals which were leaking like crazy and now i dont have any boost leaks but the thing is, I still have to go practically WOT to build boost, this doesnt seem right to me...I know the T-25 is tiny but come on. I've heard a spyder go down the road and the BOV went off every time he let off the gas. Any input?

WOT to build boost on a t25? Something isn't right. Is your mods list up to date?

If you have no leaks and are still on the stock ic system the your turbo might be going bad.

Well it's not exactly WOT but i mean i have to try to accelerate pretty fast if i want to build boost, i just think i should still be able to get boost while accelerating easier. And I've checked my turbo and there is ZERO shaft play. Really surprising to me cause this car was not maintained well before I bought it.

Would a leak at the downpipe to o2 housing connection effect spool? I'm pretty sure its post-turbo but i have a significant leak there, which is getting fixed this week.

Id take a look at your intercooler pipes and core, make sure something isnt plugging it up. A t-25 should be insta-boost. At what RPM are you reaching full boost? Your profile shows you have a boost gauge, so you should be able to tell from that.

Any input on the exhaust leak effecting spool?
I just did a few pulls. 2nd gear i saw full spool at about 3500 and in 3rd gear i saw full spool at 3000 while going WOT. This seems ok. I think I'm just explaining it wrong, it just feels like I have to push it kinda hard to see any psi build but this is my first turbo so I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to be like.

Spool doesn't sound too slow, but I have very little driving experience with a t25. You may feel the turbo dying down a bit, as they don't flow a ton. What you're prob experiencing is the turbo running past its efficiency range, and starting to drop off in power. As for the post turbine exhaust leak, it shouldn't do too much, but it should def be fixed.

Do another boost leak test and pull the code, it would help 10,000 times more than anything you have told us to date.
