I am new to DSMs, just bought a 98 GSX off my aunt and it has a CD changer in it, but a Pioneer head unit instead of the factory one. I want to make my CD changer work with this and don't know what to do.

if youre wanting to replace the current one with yours, you have to remove the center plastic piece that covers the a/c controls, radio, and shifter. its not hard, just some clips, just be gentle. then the radio has 4 screws/bolts holding it in. remove, replace, and put it back together. it should work fine.

post pics please.

let me know if this is what you meant. if not then ill try helping out again for the correct problem.

Not all aftermarket cd players are ment to run a cd changer. If you want an aftermarket cd player to run the factory cd changer you will have to find a cd player that will run a disk changer. Then its a simple plug and play thing.
