My CAT is basically fried... in fact that thing is so damaged i'm probably running on like 70hp. All i want is a replacement... any ideas of where i can get one for cheap.

Check the classifieds or buy a new one. Here in california at least i believe its illegal to get a used cat from a junkyard, dunno about arizona though.

If you want a cheap replacement cat, I'd try the humane society or a local kennel. There should also be lots of free ones advertised in the local classifieds. How'd it get fried? Was it chewing on electrical cords or something?

Or just hollow yours out. Mine "exploded" last year and all of the ceramic honeycomb inside melted together. Fun times. I just hollowed her all out and popped it back on. Then again, i'm in Texas. :\

Yeah good call on getting a used one. I guess that would be the cheapest route to take. Oh well, i just need it to pass emissions for now. Any ideas on cheap O2 sensors?

I don't think it's legal to sell used catalityc converters.But then again i live in comunist cali.
Youre local muffler shop should install one for bout $140 bucks including parts& labor,seems pretty cheap to me.If you want a cheaper fix than that,you can try taking the cat off and gutting it,and you wouldn't have a restriction problem,but then this would be illegal and we don't wanna do any ilegal things do we?

get a highflow one off ebay for like $50. not as loud as a test pipe, better flow than a stock cat.
