what a riced out POS....Look at those big ricer wheels and the stupid paul walker bodykit. I think anymore you have to have a dirty rusted out car to NOT be called a ricer by your own fellow DSMers. I guess yall like to see trashed interiors ,ripped seats, rusted out engine bays and stock 14" wheels!! Cause I had another member on here say even my talon is riced out cause I have 18" wheels and a vent hole in my hood

I dont see a problem. Im more into the looks that the performance really.. my 99 runs excellent and its completly done on the outside. I'm more about show. i'd rather have my car look awesome than have a shit load of turbo in my car that i no im gunna be stupid with and get tickets left and right :/. . i get shit talked to alot on here becuz people think i care what they like about my car you dont see me judging. i think your old eclipse is tight and i love that blue with chrome

I don't quite understand what you are trying to do?

You have come to a performance enthusiast site, one in which MOST people here frown on riced out DSMs and the seemingly unknowledgeable kids that drive them. You do so by posting up that you have a riced out Eclipse, are 17 and have absolutely no idea what you are doing.

You continue on to tell us you want to de-rice the car, make it quick and do it right. Then you ignore all questions and suggestions we have to help you out. Claim your parents bought you this car this way (sorry, but no parents I know would buy this thing without a lot of begging and promises from their kid), then come in here and post about how awesome rice is, and that you actually like your rice, right after saying you didn't.

You came in with excuses about how you are 17 and don't know where to start, or anything about cars. Now you are Mr. I Advocate for Looks and know about performance, but choose the show car route. You either have a personality disorder, or need to figure out who you are.

If you decide that you want to be a Paul Walker jockstrap lover, than fine be it, but learn to accept that most people here who grew up in the F&F age, hate it, and treat these cars with the same endearment as the many Chevy, Mopar and Ford guys of old.

okay.. uhm when did i say i no anything about performance...? huh yeah exactly i didnt. I also said i wasn't going to de - rice the entire i thing i said maybe changing the front bumper after a while and get a stock cf hood down the road.. I do want to learn things about performance because once i save enuf i was thinking about buying a gst or gsx, or just keeping mine and maybe putting a turbo. i wanted to find out what options i had for mine first though. And i didnt have to promise and or beg my parents for anything i've gotten. im spoiled... alls i have to do, to get my name put in the title is manage to keep 3.5 gpa. and when i grad this year, theyre going to put my name on it so it will be completly mine.

Nope... And wtf those supra headlights dont even look good if your into that kind of thing, THey dont even look good on the supra, they look worse on our car because they dont match the body lines and are not the right shape etc.

There's a guy that lives in my neighborhood that drives a 2G 420A with a Porsche "turbo" badge and get this....he also has "V8" badges on his fenders, huge 20" chrome wheels etc..I swear the next time I see it I'll make sure to snap a pic if I can keep up with his "turbo" "V8" car
