[Redmachine]

Anyone here running one? I have decided to for go the turbo and concentrate on a sweet ass caputer. It all seems pretty easy as I have nearly all of the components les the lilliput touchscreen and the opus dc-dc power supply. I was just wondering about the best place to put the monitor in. Also I am starting my new sub project this week, Similar to these pics(thanks BTW to the previous owner of this box it sparked my interest) I'll provide an update when I start and when I finish

i have a sweet ass home pc and a laptop that is faster. i think im just going to put some lcds in my car and then have a vga or s-video hook-up in comming from the backseat or somehtig to just hook up to the laptop, etc.

oh its not mine but it will be just like it but covered not sprayed. Ive built like 4 different boxes for people and I finally have the skills to make some nice stuff.

But I know the P4 is power hungry, how does that C3 chip work out btw?I've seen it on some of the miniatx boards

the case was around 150-160. After everythings said and done, there isnt anything i would change about my carpc. including the motherboard/processor

If you are talking about carputer playing over you stereo, yeah they have FM modualtors but it is more useful to use creatives audigy usb stuff to plug it(the computer) into a HU that has aux cables(mine does so this is the route I'm taking), You can alos completly bypass the HU and just plug you rca cables from the amps into the audigy external card and your computer becomes your HU. The advantages are digital processing and true 5.1 sound in your car This is the research I've done off the following site

I'm interested in completely deleting the radio, but sstill need FM/AM access and sound controls , bass, treble,fade , sub-w,balance etc...
Whats a audigy card and where can i buy one ??
SOrry but i know jack about pc's and even less about car pc's.
