Carbon fiber lip kit

Any pics of the fiberglass lip? Carbon fiber will be a $200 doorstop for me in no time since i drive my car everyday. But at $160 and fiberglass, the carbon fiber does not look bad at all. Any reason why the fiberglass is that much? I can get a turbo spoiler for that price and that is more material (layers of fiberglass) than a thin lip that will be kissing asphalt in no time.

Thats the price that the manufacturer stated. I am not sure why his price is what it is. But thats the deal, if you are interested then let me know.

Since I work with carbon fiber EVERY day from the beginning to the end I just wanted to chime in and say that I just recieved a carbon fiber lip from Nick and his guy does excellent work!!! Very sturdy and made great.
So why didn't I make my own if I do this everyday? Well Nick has a great price in my opinion and these are made very well. I took it out of the box and started tweaking on it right away. Grabbed it and twisted and tried bending the corners.
The back section that stays out of sight has patch work done which is great! Some might think this looks messy but it is actually good! By this I mean the fabric was layed in alternating directions (very strong) The front that is seen by the eye is layed out nicely and has a nice weave patternthough.
Does my opinion matter? Well I know what to expect from composites and I have been suprised by what some folks thought was good! I am like WTF, it looks like paper mache'!! These lips are nice and I would be a reseller anytime of these lips if Nick worked it that way. I am happy.

...Nick, are these vacumm bagged?

^^ show us pics of it on your car!

Leo, they are not vacuum bagged. They are rolled by hand. Thanks for the kind words. :thumb:

Holy Geezus! That is damn good work for hand rolled! Seriously! There are absolutely no bubbles. And even more shocking to hear since I was twisting the damn thing. VERY strong for hand rolled and "fiber backed".
Now I am even more impressed. I think I will be ordering more of these even if I pay full price on bulk....uh-hmmmm. Nick? Work with me man $$. ;)

...I know where to go any time someone emails me about front carbon lips now.
