i just baught a 90 eclipse gs with a 2.0. the car has bin sitting for awhile but it was started up last april by me when i wanted to here it run before i baught it. i ran out of money and couldn't afford it at the time so now acouple months later and not started at all i have the guy start it for me so i can here it run again before i buy it, well of course it wouldn't start so he dropped the price to 500 and of course i jumped on that deal. At the time i just thaught it was bad gas because it has bin sitting so long but i tow it home today, and start messing around with it to find out its not getting any spark on all 4cyl, its completly dead. i read the book and tried to test the CAS. it say to check for voltage on the harness side of the connector. terminal 3 was suppost to have 12volts and only gave me 2.8v and terminal 1 was suppost to have atleast 4.8v and it gave me 2.8v. now the books says that if this test comes out OK the cas is fine but it doesn't say what it is if it doesn't come out OK ??? makes no sense am i missing somthing here? the only other thing i can think of is that it could be the ecu but i took the ecu out and looked at it, it seems fine i didn't see anything leeking on the ecu, atleast where the capciters would leak anyways. so now i'm leaning towards the power transister ? could it cause no spark like this ? please help ! i would really like to get this car running ! any info is apreciated
