Car won't start after i blew a heater hose

Last night i did a 3rd and 4th gear pull at about 6500 rpm's. My car started over heating.. i pulled over and saw it was the heater hose that goes from the top of the thermostat to the firewall, was ripped. So i hopped in and drove home and parked, it was about a mile drive, if that. Next day i got a new heater hose, anti freeze and thermostat and replaced everything and now the car won't start.
What do you guy's think?

I'm stumped.

What exactly happens when you crank the car over? Does it crank over? Does is crank over really fast? Try running a compression test and seeing how your numbers come up, that will give you an indication of if you have blown something up. Maybe while you were changing the hose you broke something or unclipped something. You have to give us a little more information.

Start with the easiest and most likely things, based on what happened.

If the car is turning over and "seems" normal other than it won't start...check anything that you touched during the repair, and look for sensors/connectors that could have gotten coolant in them from the busted hose.

When i crank it over it sounds fine, it kinda putted a couple times but wasn't gettin' it... While it's cranking over it's pushing antifreeze into the overflow bottle.

Ouch...

In that case, it sounds to me like you either warped the head or blew the headgasket, or both. Pushing coolant after overheating is a classic symptom, and coolant in the cylinders would also make it hard or impossible to start.

EDIT: Have someone look for puffs of white smoke at the exhaust while cranking it.

You definitely need to do a compression and leak-down test.

Agreed. Guys have had similar issues after pressure washing their engines. Once everything dries out everything is fine. Start pulling electrical connectors related to ignition and drying things out.

Agreed. Guys have had similar issues after pressure washing their engines. Once everything dries out everything is fine. Start pulling electrical connectors related to ignition and drying things out.

After it overheated last night i did leave the hood open and it rained like no other..
Idk, i'm going to do a compression check and i'll let you guy's know what my result's are, and i'll check for white smoke while cranking it over.

There are a lot of sensors and electrical connections in that corner with your heater hose. I'd say to check all around your throttle body and starter first. However since you left the hood up in the rain it could be anything.

On that mile drive to your house what was your temp gauge at? Also how high was it when you first noticed that it was over heating?

its kind of a weird thing to say, but spray some WD-40 on your electrical connections.

WD-40 stands for water dispalcement-40, worked on my old 1G when i power washed it.

On that mile drive to your house what was your temp gauge at? Also how high was it when you first noticed that it was over heating?

When it started overheating my temp gauge was barely past the middle, by the time i got home it was at the white line, never reached the red. I'm going to do a compression check today, i need to go buy one first.
