ok let me start off by saying i have a 95 talon with a 6 bolt turbo swap i also have a 2 g auto transmission. now thats out of the way heres my problem. i just had my trans worked on. they replaced my pump and the converter. now the car wont shift out off gear. i am assuming that it is in limp mode. the guy at the trans shop said that his computer couldnt read my ecu. i was wondering that if my tcu was bad would that be one of the problems? i am having the car towed home tomarrow. so i am going to disconnet the battery for awhile and reconnect it. i am also going to make sure he didnt switch my cruise control and shift solenoids. i have searched the forums and that seems to be the main problems. can anyone help me out with his computer not reading my ecu

It doesn't seem that many people on here are familiar with the automatic transmissions. When you say it won't shift out of gear do you mean the shifter won't physically move from P to D or do you mean when you drive it the car won't shift out of first gear?

I have a trans and TCU on my parts car if you want me to test anything. Maybe the guy forgot to plug in one of the sensors.
