wont shift into gear

ok my clutch pedal feels really soft going down ive bled the clutch line over and over (correctly) and i had a friend pump the clutch in and out and the fork moves all the way to the
bumpstop but when i try to shift into anything its a grinding sound (synchros not engaging?) so the question is if the slave cylinder is pushing the rod all the way out but the pedal still feels completely soft and gears wont engage....whats the problem?

i think its the master cylinder not the slave

Possible cause:

1. Worn out MC or SC.

2. Old/tired rubber clutch line expanding under pressure, replace with a SS line.

3. Excessive play on the 1G clutch pedal assembly.

Ok,
It seems someone is missing something. If you push the pedal and the fork is moving completely, then the master cyl and slave cyl are working. The clutch it's self could be jacked or the tranny could be bad. I would first look for signs of worn out clutch. If your clutch does not disengage the tranny is going to try to turn weather or not the pedal is pushed in. Its as if your not using the clutch at all. The other issue would be internal trans problem, like syncros. Good luck in whatever it is. Let us know what the fix is incase anyone else has this issue as well.
