have another problem with my 93 gst. lets say im cruising at 3k rpm and i just push in the clutch, its almost like it drops too fast and it cant catch itself so it stalls. i can free rev it and it wont stall though??? now i had my bov vented and thought that was the problem so i put a hose on it but no fix. this is a 1st gen but it has a 2nd gen maf. i need this fixed pleaseee help. :banghead:

you mean you put the recirc. hose back on it? also, do you have larger injectors or any kind of tuning device to tune for the 2g maf?

well i bought this car how he had it. it has aftermarket camshafts in it im not sure if the injectors are stock or not. it has a safc2. i dont have a dsmlink. the bov was vented so yes i put the hose back on it

Dont vent your BOV again. Leave it hooked up how its supposed to be. that will cure some of your issues. The other thing that adds a little air to keep the engine running is the idle air control valve. Search the forums for it so you know what it looks like and how it functions. Ive had a little luck taking it off and cleaning it with carb cleaner really well and bolting it back up.

I had a similar issue as well due to my alum flywheel because when the car was under load there was a lot more fuel being delivered and then I would push in the clutch and the rpms would drop so fast that the IAC valve and the fuel mapping couldn't keep up so it would end up running too rich and slightly flooding. But when I just reved the motor up it would be ok because there wasn't as great of a difference in the amount of fuel delivered. definitely check and see if you have an aluminum flywheel and if so then I would recommend bumping your BISS up so the car idles at about 850-900 rpm's. Just my two cents, I may not be right about what's going on with your car but it sounds like the same issue I was dealing with.

i do have a whole new clutch set and flywheel its aftermarket but like i said i bought the car with everything already installed. my idle when its warmed up is around 900-1000 ill check out the iacv but im pretty sure its ok because its a rebuilt motor with all new parts. motor is rough but not horrible.
