Brampton,
My car starts to smoke from the vents after warming up the car and driving for 2-3 minutes, I was told on another forum that it can be the heater core can anyone here verify that. Any other suggestions on what I should be checking.

I would think the smell would pinpoint the problem . Antifreeze or electrical have a pretty distinct odor .

And usually the glass on the inside will get a light film to it.

I don't get anything on my windows inside its not shooting out white smoke all the time it only lasts about 10 seconds and it only happens every know and then. Someone here mentioned the smell and it does smell like coolant. I had a rad leak that would spill on my manifold a while back so I can tell from the smell. I'm guessing the heater core but It's kinda weird that it only smokes every know and then I was hoping someone here went through a similar problem. I'm using a 50/50 mix of coolant, half water half concentrated coolant. I think the norm is 70/30 maybe I'll try some premix. I have also been checking the coolant level but it's always the same, filled up to the top, I'm stumped.

Does it happen right after the car warms up ? Maybe the pressure on the heater core causes some coolant to leak out . And after warm up , thermostat opens relieving pressure on hoses . It could be a samll pin size hole that only leaks under the higher pressure .
