I have a 95 gsx that was in an accident a while ago and finally got it all fixed up and one day i looked at it, and noticed that the front right fender is about 6 inches above the tire, and it seems to be about 2 inches higher than all the other sides? It has a completely stock suspension not lowered or anything you can tell it leans to the left also

you could have a collapsed spring on one of the sides or a shock that needs to be replaces the easiest thing to do is go to an alignment shop like NTB and ask to get an alignment done the tech will tell you what is wrong for free hope this helps

actually when the car hit me if shifted everything to the right and thats the side that sits up higher in the front! when she hit me, she hit me in the front left tire and it turned the steering wheel all the way around and the wheel was turned all the way, do you think i just need an alignment really bad? the car pulls right a bit also

Well, if anything it's a start compared to what you know now. I'd take it in and ask for a front end inspection because most places will do them for free. I just took mine to Midas yesterday, and they showed me what needed to be replaced and sent me on my way.

Ok if i can find time today ill run out to pep boys or something and have them check it out, i was thinking maybe the shock was blown out but it rides fine and handles like it should with no weird noises it just looks stupid with one side lifted up! LOL

I would pull the inner fender out and make sure none of the frame or suspension mounting points are bent. Then I would take it in and have it aligned and have them check the suspension. Then I would look into maybe replacing the spring and/or strut.

Yeah man, ain't no shame in my game. LOL If I can't figure out what's wrong with my car best believe I'm gonna take it in. Good luck.

Maybe the frame got bent if its only one side thats higher. And yes you most likely need an alignment. Some lady hit me by the left tire and my right one points a little to the right and pulls to the side. Probably best to get both things checked out just to be safe.

The side that got isnt the side that sits up higher tho thats why im confused i figured if the frame was bent it would be that side that would sit up

I planned on doing that today after work im thinking a mounting point might be bent like you said but im not positive yet

Hopefully its just time for some new struts and not a twisted chassis

If you go in reverse and then hit the brakes and keep tapping them it makes like a loud popping noise, could that be that the struts are blow or is somethign with the tie rod/ ball joints or something like that broken? every single one of my dsm's have done this haha
