Car shut off during WOT pull...

Well I finally got around to recording my first log (havent uploaded it yet). So I put the car in 3rd gear and take it up to redline. But right before the car gets to redline, the motor shuts off. All the power in the car is still on, radio, lights, and the batter light came on. I roll for a while, put the car in 4th, pop the clutch and she starts right back up again. Any ideas as to why she would just shut off like that?

Check your battery and see if it shorted out on anything....especially on the hood.

Yea, it could be a bad ground from your battery to the firewall.

While the car is running its drawing power from the alternator, BUT if the alternator isn't grounded then it's not going to work.
