I can't get my car to stay running. After running my car pretty hard...i blew off an intercooler pipe. I got it back on to the point that i drove home with a boost leak(about 1/2 mile flat) Turned off the car and went to bed. Woke up the next morning, and fixed it.(didn't start it) Later that day i was planning on going to PRP. I wen't outside to start the car and nothing.. It will run for about 3 seconds and it turns itself off. As if i were to turn the key back off. No boost or vac leaks anywhere. I am about 90% sure that it is fuel problem. The ecu is also a suspect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But in that case the car wouldn't start at all if the fuel wasn't being delivered. If it starts and then shuts off I'm thinking more towards the maf. something similar happened to me about 2 months back. Try and unhook the maf and tell me if it keeps idling at all and not shut off?

Then it sounds like just maybe your timing belt might of skipped a tooth or something. When was the last time you changed it? Tensioner?

Oh ok, I was unaware I thought it was a higher mileage motor. I still say check the MAF if you are running one, and then the fuel pump..
