Here is a run down on the history of my problem(s) I am having with my 2G.
It kept eating crank sensors, turns out the mechanic that did some of the work on my car installed the crank trigger plate backwards. As my car is my DD I did not have time to go through and pull the TB and everything else to get it running. So, I purcahsed a 1g CAS and am using it and the car now runs fine seems to have adequate power considering I am only currently running 4lbs of boost (still on engine break in phase).
The only problem I am having with the car aside from a small oil leak is the fact that it refuses to idle. I adjust the timing on the CAS with little affect, and I can turn the idle screw all the way, and all the way out and it does not affect the idle.
With that Im guessing it is more than likely something in the TB. I am using a 1G NA TB that I had used before all of these problems. I have removed all of the emissions vac lines (this was done before the problems).
My biggest fear is that the mechanic that installed the trigger plate incorrectly bent the exhaust valves. While it was in the shop I caught them with the exhaust cam 180* off because their manual program had given them the instructions for an NA. They swore to me that they did not turn the engine over like this.
