 OK, IT SEEMS TO ONLY HAPPEN WHEN IT STARTS GETTING COLD OUTSIDE, BUT WHEN I FLOOR IT MY CAR HESITATES THEN STARTS BUILDING SPEED, I SHIFT RIGHT BEFORE REDLINE AND THEN BAM. IT FEELS LIKE MY CAR IS BEING JERKED BACKWARDS. ( EX: LIKE ## TIED TO AN END OF A ROPE AND YOU TAKE OFF RUNNING AND ALL OF A SUDDEN ## BUDDY YANKS THE OTHER END REAL QUICK AND LETS GO). I HOPE THAT WAS A GOOD ENOUGH ANALOGY. MY CAR HAS 160,000 MILES ON IT W/ STOCK TURBO, HKS SSBV, AND DRAGON AIR FILTER. IF ANYONE CAN HELP I KNOW SOMEONE IN HERE CAN.

Its probably fuel cut, nothing to worry about. But get a manual boost controller and a boost gauge if you dont have one, so you can set it to 15psi or below. Do you have a aftermarket exhaust?

well i hope you know that running a bov in a turbo dsm will cause a rich condtion between shifts when the air blows off because the ecu thinks that the air is going back into the intake like it should but it actually is goin to the atmosphere. So when the ecu thinks it has that much air it gives gas to match it but all of a sudden all the air is gone due to bov. i say you should go to Sbr and look at their blow through systems. They put the maf after the bov so the air is gone before its metered :thumb:

I think you mean... If your BOV doesn't recirculate... "the ecu thinks it has that much air it gives gas to match it but all of a sudden all the air is gone due to" ... venting (to the atmosphere)....

I dunno call me stupid but could it just be the way you are shifting. Try fully depress the clutch pedal and shift as quickly as possible.

Well, I'm Not Venting To The Atmosphere So Its Not That. I Guess My Next Step Would Be To Get A Boost Gauge And A Mbc And Hope For The Best. Preciate The Help Fellas. Oh Yeah Forgot To Mention It Doesn't Just Happen When I Shift , It Also Happens When I Get On The Gas In 5th, Hit High Rpm And Let Off. So Its Not The Way I'm Shifting. Cmon I'm Not That Much Of A Newb.

I am sure you probably know, but just a little reminder, All Caps On Every Word Here Is A :nono: .
Yes you definitely need to get a boost gauge and a MBC.

What kind of plugs are you running? Running the wrong plugs could attribute to the hesitation. Since your car is not heavily modded you should buy NGK BPR6ES spark plugs. They are cheap and work very well in our cars.

Also major boost leak could cause you to hit fuel cut, so do a boost leak test. You need to go ahead and get your boost gauge because you would definitely know if you are not boosting as much as you should.

Do the the boost leak test, get the ngk's, and let us know the results.
