car isnt building boost ........

well im having some troubles... im putting my car back to stock turbo... it was fine all day running great.. all of a sudden i got on it a bit and it was building no boost. no boost on the gauge bov doesnt make a noise but opens just fine... check all vac lines no leaks... getting kinda confused.... so need help !

Have you checked the actual turbo itself since the problems arose? do the usual. look for oil in the intake/turbo, shaft play, and check to see if it is spinning freely. Always have to start simple, right?

jason.. it might b a simple vaccume leak. check it over 3 more times and listen to it. spray wd40 or something to make it bubble on all the vaccume lines. try that.

Im having the same problem and its really getting to me now. Was driving around boosting just fine. went to get on it and nothing happened. Checked the waste gate, checked for leaks. Next step is to do a pressure test. srry to make things more confusing I really hope someone out thier has an answer!! If I come up with anything ill get back.

I rebuilt my 14b turbo once (what a waste of money) any way I forgot to put the wastegate actuator arm back on so it wasn't building any boost.
