So on a warm day like it has been. I will start my car and run it. Once I go somewhere and turn the car off. Later I can come back and the car will start but will ''choke its self out'' or just not idle or something. Like its not getting fuel or flooding or something. Sometimes this happens. Usually if i run the car and then i turn it off and then try starting about 20-30 minutes later. HELP!

Tell me this, do you see any smoke coming out of your exhaust?...

This happened to me when I was running a really bad motor. It would run great when cold, but once it warmed up, it would die. I had to keep reving it up at stop signs and crap. Also, it was almost impossible to start when warm. The rings were FRIED, one of the pistons was cracked at the spot where it holds the ring, and oil pressure was very low.

Hopefully this isn't what is wrong with your car because I am currently going through a motor rebuild; it has taken so long and it's so dang expensive.

To the op, is your fuel pressure solenoid hooked up.
This will cause it to have trouble starting once warm because of vapors in the fuel lines and what not. I dont have a fuel pressure solenoid at all but I dont have this trouble
starting when warm, my car is more unwilling to start when cold but thats probably because i have 850cc injectors and a dieing starter and it takes it a while to get fuel going?

Do you have a check engine light on though?

I was reading in the talon manual about poor hot idle, it said to check the wirring for the fp selanoid so i think that you might be on to something...

my car usually does not smoke when i start or when its just idling only time i've ever noticed a little is when i take of and get one it hard but thats about it.

so you're thinking it has something to do with fuel?

and no, no check engine light.

the car fires but the idle is so poor that it will shut off sometimes 2 or 3 times in a row. I can finally get it started by giving it a little gas and getting it going.
Best way to describe it is like starting a motorcycle without choking it it'll fire and idle but poorly and when u give it a little gas it will shut off.

Try to get a compression test, and a wet one as well. It really sounds like what was going on with my car; like I said, the motor was pretty much blown. Hopefully is something simple in your case.

AS someone else has asked, is the fuel pressure solenoid hooked up? It is an integral portion on most dsms and being able to idle (well) on warm start ups.

Usually you have to work on the car for the problem to be fixed. People have given you suggestions, start working on them.
