I live in Chicago, and went to a few local shops for a wheel alignment. They wont do it because the car is too low. It the eibach sportline w/tokico, not really that low, but its the freakin bodykit that gets in the way. Anyone know of any shops that might be able to align my wheels? Holla!

thanks,
Abdul

I had this problem when I went to get an alignment. Big G tire said they could do it, took it there, went and picked it up, then a couple months later notice my tires were wearing like a mofo. I then found this other small shop and they did a hell of a job. If you find a shop that will do it ask them if the bumper needs to come off, if it does do it yourself to save some money.

i have a shop here in ky that does my alignment work. they are just a regular tire shop though. you should be able to find a normal tire shop that will do this for you. just make sure you pull the bumper yourself if they think it needs to come off. also, they will probably not be able to get the alignment back to factory specs so you are most likely goin to need to buy some type of camber kits. Ingalls makes good ones. by buying aftermarket camber kits the adjustment will be much greater than the oem adjustments. i know these things are expensive but its the only way you will get the car to be perfectly aligned. hope this helps you out.

If your car is lowered more than an inch they won't be able to get it back to factory specs. anyways. There is only so much adjustment you can do on a DSM and it's mainly toe and SOME camber in the front. Other than that you have to buy kits to be able to do a good alignment on it. Personally without the kits it is a waste of time. I tried doing my 2g on an alignment rack with nearly the same setup and got nowhere with it.
