Car Dies On My Way Home

So, last night after the club heading home I was like ten minutes away and my car just stalled while i was cruising at about 50km/h(30miles).... I tried starting it but it would just not start it turns over but thats about all. The lights still come one and everything and it isnt choking...

Its a '95 Talon Tsi AWD 5spd it has about 160,000km/100,000miles..timing belt has been recently changed 2 mths ago along with spark plugs and balance shaft eliminated new fuel filter and all the necessary maintenance you can think of.

The only mods I have Is whats listed in my profile and the car has not shown any signs of wanting to break at all its been running fine since i bought it 5 mths ago..


What do you guys think it is??? Help, sucks not being able to drive it.....

did you replace the wires with the plugs?

no, wires werent replaced but the mechanic said it was good still

Check my fuses they look good.. When i try to start it and shortly after i stop I hear this funny buzz that sounds like it is coming from the distributor cap or near that area... does that sound famliar or normal to anyone???

Clean your battery terminals really good.

This sounds like a fuel problem to me. Check your fuel pressure first then get back to us.

same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago, your fuse relay might be shot, thats what happened to me

+1 on the fuel problems. sounds very similiar to my problem last month when the fuel pump took a dump. car was running great and then died at a stop light and wouldnt do a thing but turn over. take some carb/brake cleaner and spray it into your intake manifold and try to turn it over. If it cranks its fuel. relay or fuel pump is my guess.

I just had the throttle body cleaned and manifold as well its a brand new fuel pump in there,, but ill check the relay and see how that goes,,

so, earlier today got a buddy to come take a look at the car knows way more than anyone i know about talons...anyway as soon as he got in to the start it damn thing just fires up.. weird...anyone have any idea what happened??
