Can't hear it spool and no boost..

Well today I was going to work, thought I'd boost it alittle so I'm at WOT boosting, when all of a sudden it SOUNDS like my IC pipe popped off, usually when that happens I can hear the turbo spooling pretty loud...I couldn't. As a matter of fact, I couldn't hear it at all. It's like I'm n/t now..I looked to see if it even spins when the car is on, and it does. Anyone have any ideas?

Yea u obviously have a boost leak, check all of your couplers and do a boost leak test. Seriously does no one search anymore??????????

Wow, so very descriptive You checked it spooling at idle...did you rev it up as well? Did you check all of the ic pipes? How bout checking your wastegate, making sure the arm is still attached to the flapper? I'm done for now hehe

I love external wastegates!!!!! Whats a actuator arm? (kidding) Dood i am so mad that you had to post to find out your arm fell off. You were looking at the turbo watching it spin and you didn't see the arm danglin'. I love my 420aT bros..

LoL, come on now..I didn't state it before, but I didn't have time to check it yet. It was on the way to work when it happened

At least you didn't pay 300 bones for so coilovers and gr2's. Then put them on your car and find out they make it look like a truck. Those beautiful looking cosmo coilovers suck!!!!!

Nah not today, I had to go to church then work all day. Hopefully tomorrow after school I can run to Autozone and get the clip I need..I just un-threaded the arm the rest of the way so it doesn't unthread itself and fall off on the road.

In the mean time I'll take advantage of non boosted, wonderful gas milage haha

I modded the wastegate, which set it at 3 psi..Even with the spring as loose as possible, I'm gunna cut the spring tomorrow and see if that raises it any.

Why not just make an MBC for $10 with parts from home depot? Then raise it all you want!
