can you replace a single valve with another used valve ?

as it says i need to know if you can replace a single valve with another single valve thats used but in good shape

also how do you replace them is it hard do i need any speachel tools ? thanks

Yes you can but a new valve is only between 8-11 bucks so why not just buy a new one. To be safe I would take it to a machine shop and let them do it. They have all the tools needed to do it correctly.

In order to take the springs out to get to the valves, you have to either buy or make your own spring compressor to get them out. I would probley just buy a new valve or get some high-end titanium valves.

As long as the valve is in good condition, it really does not matter that much. When you bring the valve to your machinist, he/she will grind your head to seat the valve weather it is used or new. Granted new stock valves are cheap, but if you have immediate access to a cheap used valve, it should work just fine.

id replace it with a new one from mitsu they are cheap. and take it to a machine shop.
and while your at it. have the machine shop check the valve guides and replace valve seals while its off the motor.
