Woke up yesterday morning and found this laying beneath my pedals. I replaced my carpet the day before, but didn't do anything to the pedals. Any guesses?
Winner gets 50 gold pieces.

Is the center bolt hollow? Looks like it could be a clutch switch for either cruise or starter disable switch. Or just a stop for the upper movement of a pedal

That makes sense!!! About 6 months ago, I removed the switch that requires the clutch to start the car. Did I leave something behind?
