Can improper clutch adjustment cause slippage?

My clutch is slipping under boost and the clutch pedal seems out of adjustment. I have little tension on the pedal until 3/4 the way depressed, at which point the clutch will disengage. Can the slipping clutch be caused by improper adjustment of the rod or am I going to have to buy a new clutch?

Yes, it can. If you adjust the master cylinder push rod all the way, it'll slip like butter on a hot skillet.

Yeah, it's slipping pretty easily. I forgot to mention that I have to pull the pedal up with my foot, if I don't it will eventually come out on its own, within a couple minutes. It seems to be sticking when I release it. The milage is 100k.

100k on the original clutch? Check your clutch master and slave, it might be leaking.

Before you start modding, do a complete tune up. When was the last time you did your maintenance? Read up on TECH GUIDE section.

sticking huh? Sound either your have bas hydraulic cylinders, clutch has gave and worst case scenario, your car has a symptom on crank walk. Check all of those and for the crank walk, turn the car a HARD left and see it it sticks.
