idk if it is i bought it at a hardware store its stronger than oem fuel lines but idk if its fuel compatible any way i can test if it will melt?

That, in all honesty, looks fine. It looks reinforced as well, which is always a proper sign. As noted above, if you would like to be safe then go ahead and sit it in a cup of Fuel for a few hours, I recommend at least 24, and see if it tries eating through it.

That looks like Goodyear Pliovic or another manufacturer's variant to me, which is a plastic tube and cover. You must use a Nitrile tube and cover for fuel. If that is a PVC hose, you absolutely cannot use it for any fuel or oil application as it will turn to mush and fail in short order. I do this stuff for a living and can definitely help you identify what youve got, but you need to give me the numbers that are printed on the hose.

If it came from a hardware store its probably air line hose. I have never seen colored fuel line at a hardware store. I wouldn't use it for fuel.
