The problem is... my driver side headlight has a "faded" look on it, looks like crap. My question is can i put 97-99 aftermarket headlights(halo-projectors) on my 95 eclipse without changing out the bumper? They make no halo-projectors for 95-96 so i'm just curious if i can. Will they fit without the bumper change? Also I'm concerned if they will leak, if water gets under the hood or anything that could go wrong if i try to install a pair of those. Thanks.

Their will be a gap. The 97-99 headlights are smaller than the 95-96 lights.

so they'll fit, just a little gap? or a huge one?...if i do try to put them on and there is only a gap...is there a chance that water can get under the hood and mess anything up?

I always thought of that too. But it shouldnt be a problem, or people wouldnt do it, right? Tomorrow ill put my 97-99 headlights on my car and spray it w/ the hose and see :thumb:

Yea, i put that into consideration also. Hey IF you are going to test it that way tomorrow, can you post a message sometime tomorrow so i can see how it went. It would really help out. I really like the way halo-projectors look, and i want to replace the headlights..i'll buy me set if your test works out. Thanks

to fix that problem just by a 97 -99 front end you can pick one up on ebay for vertually nothing. Plus it looks sick I have it on my car and there is no gaps. Also it will not effect anything with the gap if you dont have the front bumper swaped. Remember you will not be getting that amount of water sprayed at your headlights,.

Since there is that gap there, can water somehow get through and get under the hood and cause any damage?.. or would it be safe?
Uh... you already get a flood through the grille and radiator. Cars are waterproof, up to around six inches.
