Can i power it up?????

Hi, i have just installed a panasonic 8100u head unit in my car and i spliced all the wires from harness to harness

(stock infinity system + amp)

I have not bypassed the amp though i just left it in, will anything go wrong? i am ok with the stock sound so if it is ok and it downgrades itself to the stock sound i am fine with it (bigger plans down the road)

Am i ok to go ahead and turn this thing on??
ive read the head unit will explode,or it will sound better, or it makes no difference. so somebody pleeease help me

anyone let me know as soon as possible im just waiting for anyones response

If you hooked it up like I said in the other post turn it on it will work fine. Iv'e had mine like this for years. You trying to get more opinions?

i just installed a full system(head unit, mids highs and lows, 1 15inch sub, two caps, and 1000watt amp) and i havnt hade a prob yet

and your saying you kept the stock amp with it right??

i went ahead and hooked it up it sounds AWESOME i was just worried because its liike sending and amplified singnal to an amplifier but i guess it doesnt matter (plus i unplugged that 7 pin thing from the amp)

anywho it sounds awesome THANKS EVERYONE!!!!
