Can anyone vouch for this guy?

Hi everybody, I found an Evo III 16g that looks pretty good in the classifieds. I was wondering if anybody could vouch for the member pickens. Also I have never really bought anything through paypal or just online from a private seller, I read the article "tips to prevent fraud", but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to make sure I don't get burned. Thanks

Most of the time on here you won't get ripped off, the best thing that you can do is to get pictures of the part to make sure that it appears to be in good condition

Def ask for pictures,and ask plenty of questions. I have bought a few times off this site,including an ecu and injectors. Sorry I can't offer any input on the seller in question,but take your time and don't jump the gun ie be cautious

yeah after trying to buy some cams for my car the guy said he couldnt get verified thru his bank for paypal so I didnt buy just being cautious

Different guy , me personally I wouldn't buy anything if you cant do it through paypal or some other secure way ,,,, money orders are a no go for me .. Bad luck in the past

This community is pretty close, I wouldnt worry to much about getting burned. Just do the obvious, check there feedback, ask for pics, ask for more pics if you still arnt sure. I personally would only use something like paypal for payments. I presonally have purchesed 40+ between here and dsmtalk. I have yet to have any problems
