can a bad power transistor make a coil go bad?

alright, so after a day of headaches and greasy hands, i figured out that my car has been running sloppily because cylinders 2 and 3 weren't firing, so i replaced the coil that fired 2 and 3, and it fired right up, and aside from idle surging from me setting the idle for only 2 cylinders, it ran great, sounded beutifully and everything, but then i decided i was going to cut off the engine, and adjust the biss,sas, and tps, and then take it for a test drive, but when i went to start it up, it was misfiring again and as it was before, it wasnt firing on 2 and 3.. i was wondering if a bad power transistor could make a coil go bad, or if its just my unlucky day...

When I had a bad transistor I had no spark in 2 and 4 ,what's gap on your plugs ?

im not sure of the plugs, i havent changed them yet. the thing that gets me is i dont know how the SAME coil could go bad after i had just replaced it... either its just a coincidence or something is causing it, i wouldnt think that the power transistor could just stop working on one coil one minute and the next begin working, and then stop working again... ive gone through 3 coils, im not sure if they are actually bad, but thats what im guessing since putting in a new one works to get it started, but i cant go through a coil every time i decide i want to start my car up
