I'm pretty positive my car has CA emissions as it has the egr temp sensor, and when i removed my EGR i got a check engine light. Its annoying and i want it to go away. Is there a way to get the ecu to ignore the egr system? I tried leaving all the electronics plugged in and tried unplugging them, i get a check engine light on and off either way. It never stays on though its intermittent with code 43.

im pretty positive it has one as the egr valve had what looked exactly like an egt probe in the side of it that when to a 2 wire plug. I eliminated all my emissions bs partly to make the engine bay look a little better and partly because those 30 vacuum lines all had leaks, and i could care less about emissions. I was hoping you werent gonna say dsmlink :( i would love to have it but have no money for it at the moment, plus my dsm is my dd right now and my z is sucking all my extra money.
