Whats going on guys, I recently went to go look at a DSM today. It has been sitting for 2 years and it had to be jumped today to get it started. Once I get this I plan on doing full maintenance/tuneup. Just wondering if anyone suggest anything. i also posted a link, or embedded video of the car running for the first time in quite awhile. Does everything seem semi okay to you guys? I'm getting this car for a pretty decent deal, so i figured why not. Its a 92 AWD Laser. I plan on getting DSMlink (for monitoring and diagnostics) and boost gauge, etc. once maintenance is done. Any suggestions?

So I picked this up for 1300. It's officially mine now. It has a misfire at idle but no CELs. It sometimes doesn't have power below 2k rpm then it's fine after. it has been sitting for 2 years so I'm doing spark plugs, oil change, and wires this week.

Also doing a boost leak test, compression test and leakdown as well

Already ordered stuff and on top of the maintenance guide guys! I'm ordering another RRE silicone hose kit. Had a good experience with it a couple years ago with my first DSM.
And the guy actually gave me a spare transfer case too that's sitting in the back seat! Along with a new water pump and timing belt kit. Can't complain. First issue is to get this misfire fixed.

Just another suggestion after sitting two years is checking all suspension components and ensure it's halfway aligned. I had my first dsm few years ago and when I picked it up it ran rough as hell only because it was horribly aligned.

Yeah the car shakes like hell sometimes. And other times it's okay to deal with. I'll have to fix and figure that out as well.

Check out your injectors with an ohm meter always good to rule them out for sluggisness and misfires they could be failing with out a cel, id also do fuel filter even if its brand Spanking New! Check your harmonic balancer as well cause the rubber could be dried out and thats something you dont want eating your timeing belt or.timeing.cover LOL been there / done that LOL oh also check your idle stopper
