Well I'm new here, and have a few important questions. I just finished building a 95 GSX and put everything back together minus all of the emissions control stuff, the EGR valve, and a few other minor things (IE stock boost solenoid)
One, what does the dash warning light that is located upper right of the gauge cluster mean? It is colored yellow, and looks like a museum or coloseum. I don't have an owners manual and can't find it on the DSM CD.
Two, where is the proper wire that I need to hook up the starter solinoid to located? I have it hooked up to a black wire coming off the upper fire wall that gives me a 12v signal when the car is switched to start, but I don't think it is the right wire.
Three, would not having the Power Steering Pressure Sensor wire hooked up to the PS pump render my PS in-op when I drive the car?
And Finally, how many wires are supposed to be on the alternator? I Currently have the harness plugged into it, and two white wires merged to a single connector that is bolted to the alternator body.
Thanks for your help.
