Hey guys, I just picked up a 95 white TSI AWD shell with absolutely no rust and only 170k km last week, where I'm from this is basically an impossible find. I've decided that I will be putting a 7 bolt stroker 4G63 in it. I've done my research but just to be twice as safe, I'm posting up here to ask you guys what parts I should be getting to make it all work and what I should be looking for when I'm putting parts together. Thanks guys.

So far, I'm looking at a 4G64 100mm crankshaft with stroker rods and pistons, let me know if you've got any suggestions.

You don't need stroker rods. You will use a standard length 4g63/4g64 rod. Because of the extra 6mm of throw up top you will need pistons that are 6mm lower. So yes, 4g64 crank along with 6mm offset pistons. It would also be a good idea to have the crank polished and balanced, along with the rest of the parts being component balanced. I would highly suggest getting main studs and having a shop line hone the block with the studs torqued down. Those two thing will go a long way to ensuring a long life from the stroker.

for parts, I would highly suggest Eagle or Manley for the rods (H-beam of course). I would also recommend Manley for the stroker pistons.

This^ eagle/Manley, or eagle/wiseco are definitely the most common combo of rods/pistons. Make sure you get a reputable shop to do the machine work, and double check everything.

bump.. im curious if there is an update on this build. i would like to build a stroker but cant find just one write up that gives me directions basically LOL
