Broken motor mounts

What kind of engine damage can come from driving with the motor mounts broken? The guy who had the car drove it really hard I'm guessing. the mount near the tranny was completely broken and one piece was actually resting on the other one. While they where broken, you couldn't take off too fast or the car would feel like it was stalling. Now that they're fixed, is there anything I should get checked? I don't know much about cars yet, although I'm trying to learn, . So please if anyone can tell me so I know what to tell the mechanic.

There could be some things loose or almost stripped or something of that nature. If you're taking it to a mechanic anyways then just tell em your mounts were broke and check stuff out.

i drove with some busted mounts in the past.

take it easy btwn shifts and have the shop look at the rest of your mounts.
there shouldnt be any severe problems. go get it fixed.

get it fixed as soon as you can and take it easy in the mean time. not like you can do anything about it now, but you probly shouldnt have bought a car that the prev owner drove the piss out of. hope you got it at a good deal!

What do you guys mean by busted? The mount that holds the transmission went completely out in my car, and it broke the pass. side axle.
