i have a 96 gsx that idles fine drives fine .......until i put my foot in it... it acts like if it has hit fuel cut but it doesnt do it in neutral.it only does it under high boost. i dont know what to do about it. i found a boost leak and fixed it but i dont know if i fixed one could the new pressure cause a new one to develop? i know its something simple to fix but i dont know what it is. plus im running rich could that have anything to do with this?

btw my car looks exactly like yours. same color and all

what is the difference between map and maf?
my friend told me to get a maft.

Test your TPS, I will bet that is your problem. Are you getting a check engine code that you can't read? Did you do a boost leak test again to re-check your work? Useually you have to rebuild a TB to get rid of leaks and it is a very common problem.

Read and do all of this if you have a voltemeter, it can be done with the TB still on the car just a little bit harder TPS Adjustment
You will get crazy reading if it's off. Mine turned the cel on but didn't give codes and worked sometimes but then I would be driving and my car would drop like it hit a wall as you were describing.
Otherwise if you have a pocket logger or know someone that does they could read your code, you could try autozone but I would try to find someone with a logger or code reader since you are ODBII since the autozone reader doesn't give you the exact code, not positive on this but maybe it does.

there are 4 codes that came up today. one is o2 sensor the next was something called a fuel pressure-up solenoid. the next was manifold differential pressure. and i dont remember what the other was

Fill out your profile so we know what you are running. Then I'd fix the codes, replace the fuel filter, plugs (make sure they are correctly gapped too), wires... other maintenance things.
