Was almost done tuning and my car started to break up around 4-5k rpm wot and I need to chase the problem down so I can finish. The car drives good and pulls good except if I go wot and does the same thing even when I ran 18 psi wg pressure. Most threads I've read say check plugs and wires, blt, and try gapping plugs lower. So mainly I need opinions on what else it could be before I make the trip to my builders house to help troubleshoot. I'll list the things I've tried and things I'll be taking with me.
Blt...I have a nice leak on my compressor housing that will be addressed this weekend. Can't check the rest of the system because it leaks out on the housing. Don't jump to conclusion and say that's my problem because I run SD and the car ran fine (unless the leak just started), but the leak will be addressed either way.
Changed plugs and wires, both ngk and plugs are bpr7es gapped to .020. Boost was spiking 32ish for a sec before quickly dropping to around 27psi.
Checked injectors, rings and fuel pump for clogging from E85 (both look good) and I've changed the fuel filter twice in 2 weeks.
Afpr holds pressure for a good 3minutes( is this long enough) before dropping to zero and I pulled the vacuum line and theres no E85 in it.
I'll be pulling tps, coil pack, cas, and transistor from a junk n/a talon to take with me and another set of plugs. Anything I'm missing?
