my dsm is stock everything. and im just starting to get into putting mods on my car. i know what parts to buy but does the brand name mean much. like on ebay i was looking at an S-tune Intake for 70$. let me know what u guys think

There is a difference between brand name and crap, brang name does mean the company is proven... BUT there are other companies that have proven stuff here that cost less money than brand names... BUT they are not say Greddy or HKS... if you want a quality intake that cost less, check out dejon racing... www.dejontool.com Many of us use their products, great products and not too expensive. Same goes with a lot of other parts... Don't just run off to EBAY.

I have an S-Tune filter, and it works fine. If you get this, just know in advance that the adapter plate doesn't fit perfectly (or I somehow got the wrong bolts), but it's not a huge problem. I looked at the intake pipe though, and I'd advise against this. It's the same dimensions as the stocker, meaning it necks down. You should look at the dejon tool CIP-2gS http://www.dejontool.web.aplus.net/DSM 2gC Intake.htm (3rd one from the top).
