Braking Issue after Cruising

So today I noticed something strange while cruising at about 40 mph. I went to slow down and the pedal traveled a little further down than usual before braking. Then when I drive short "stop and go" distances the brakes grab/hold fine and there is no pedal travel but the usual "sharpness" that I'm used to. My brake pads are probably 2 months old with new rotors (fronts). This only happens after crusing for a short/long while above say.. 35 mph. Can someone explain?

I'm thinking your master cylinder is malfunctioning. You might also have air in your system. Bleed it out before you spend money.

i had pretty much the same issue...
mine wound up being a bad front caliper on the driver side. It Kept Seizing and locking up.
