Brakes

Is it me or do brakes suck on most of the cars? I can't make a stop even if I start braking earlier then other cars. If I "trail brake" I usually end up with understeer and go off track. I keep messing with suspension but it's pretty frustrating.

If it helps I'm trying to setup Lotus Espirit V8 to handle like my Elise, which is awesome by the way. Any hints?

Get a brake balance controler and some racing supersport tires... then increase the brake pressure using the balance controler menu.

dont go too high, as the racing supersofts have a limit to adhesiveness as well...

Im not 100% on this, but I believe that decreasing the value on the brake balance controller INCREASES braking power, BUT decreases the anti-lock power. So this means that too low of a setting will be too strong and cause the tires to lock or come close to locking, and too high a setting will cause the brakes to be too weak because the anti-lock is on constantly, and pulsating faster, so the brakes wont be as strong.
