Where's the cheapest place to buy aftermarket brake rotors and pads, something like powerslot or Brembo that are crossdrilled and slotted? (which ever one's best..crossdrilled and slotted or just 1)

Yes, those top rotors are a direct replacement, just make sure you choose the correct ones depending on if you have abs, awd, fwd, etc. etc.

Actually, those Hawk pads are kinda expensive. Go with these:

They're half the price and do an excellent job. It's what I run.

I had Powerslots on my old Civic SI autox hatch with EBC Green pads and have Brembo Slotted rotors and Hawk pads on my gsx. I loved my powerslots but hated the EBC's. They produced way too much dust and didn't grip as well as the worn stockers they replaced.

My Brembos have yet to rust after 6 months of use and the Hawks grip like crazy, are just as quiet as the stockers and produce very little dust.

Cliffs Notes: Brembo Slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads FTW

well, i just ordered the powerslot rotors since they were cheaper then the brembo and are ceremic coated so they don't rust, also got Hawk pads, kinda wished i got the axis now since they're so much cheaper but oh well! :dsm:

So you got the powerslots all around?

nice, did u get ## magnaflow off of ebay the 3" to 2.5" dual outlets off that exhaust performance shop that sells on ebay? Cause i have the same one with a custom turbo-back. :thumb:

yea I kind of liked his magnaflow also because it gives a stock exhaust look.... I wonder how it sounds, and they dont have a 3in inlet and both outlet tip magna flow do they?

Oh and I plan on upgrading brake pads and rotors by christmas so might as well do a little
research will the threads up. I like what I hear about the hawks, and the slotted rotors... have any of you tried those ebay slotted rotors?
( I doubt I would ebay something as important as brakes, because I am one to
argue ebay as a choice of performance products but just wondering... )

I remember hearing about a guy that bought cross-drilled rotors on ebay that broke in half while he was driving and he nearly died. That is one thing about cross-drilled that if they're not done right they can be very weak. That's not to say that all ebay rotors are bad, but I just don't think I would take the chance on something like that in your braking system. I would suggest the setup that sccrAdidas15 got, and maybe even going with the Axxis pads over the Hawks just because the Axxis metallic pads are half the price yet still an excellent pad.

Just for the front, my dad inspected my car the other day and said the front breaks were bad so i said meh, might as well get rotors as well, eventually i would like to get the same for the back, but i already spend like 218 dollars for the front pair on the pads. :shhh:

Haha, I know what it's like to be short on funds. Good choice on the brake setup.
