I know it’s the basics and quite obvious to do, but often over looked. When Assembling new brakes be sure to clean off all surfaces where the pads contact the calipers. Then use which ever brake lube on those contact surfaces. I use anti seize. Also since there a frequent item be sure to anti seize the threads on the bolts as to not round off bolts or break them off in the holes!
Also when installing new rotors make sure to clean the film of grease off them. They caught them from the factory with Greece to keep them from rusting on the shelf .
