bov tube trimming

what is bov tube trimming? i kno its a free mod - explain plz

The 2g dump tube goes like all the way inside of the intake pipe right down next to the turbo to reduce noise. It also kills performance. By trimming the bov tube so that its flush with the inside of the intake pipe you free up space and basically let more air get to the turbo.

Except you don't have to kill yourself to do it. Just use a hacksaw blade without a frame to cut it off. It's only plastic, shouldn't take five minutes to get through. It doesn't have to be flush with the inside of the snorkle- as you'll see when you have the rubber pipe out, it won't take much to be a big difference over stock.
